Inspired by the recession / depression of 2008 - 2009, the folks at Atelier Bagatelle have created these three recession themed pinbacks.The top left reads WELCOME TO HARD TIMES 2009 - and is based on the iconic Welcome to Las Vegas Sign.
The top righ button reads THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF WALL STREET - a reference to the unprecedented government investment in banks and finacial services companies.
The third button features a grafitto from the Punk / Yuppie wars of New York City's Lower East Side during the 80s, when hardscrabble punks and squatters contended with well heeled Yuppies who were intent on gentrifying the gritty neighborhood .
